One entry for a topic and its supporting material
A Study Notes pack contains named entries that you can group, search, reorder, and select for studying. Each entry can hold rich notes, multiple image attachments, saved microscope views, and a separate drawing Canvas.
For example, a tissue entry can combine an explanation of its layers, a labelled reference image, and a saved view of a digital slide. A pharmacology entry can combine a comparison table with a drawn pathway. You choose what belongs together rather than having the app generate the material for you.
Write, illustrate, and annotate
The notes editor supports headings, lists, tables, links, equations, comments, and text formatting. Images can be uploaded and annotated in their own editor. Canvas provides a separate workspace for diagrams and drawings, while microscope attachments preserve a particular slide view.
These are different surfaces with different save actions. Saving notes, an edited image, or a Canvas finishes that entry draft; saving the pack writes the resulting work to your chosen device or Drive file.
Turn selected material into recall practice
Mark answer text as Quiz blanks to practice filling gaps. Enable Identify for an entry to include its images and attached microscope slides in identification questions. Answered Tape covers can turn covered image regions into additional recall prompts.
You decide which material becomes a question. A note or drawing does not automatically produce a quiz. Select entries or a saved group, then choose a suitable practice mode. Study Mode offers a reader for supported Study Notes material; Flashcards has its own flip-and-rate workflow.
Keep a copy and share by choice
Work locally without signing in, and save a .gqb pack file for backup or transfer. Optional Google Drive saving keeps a private pack in your own Drive. Publishing a shared pack is a separate action; saving privately does not publish your material.
Choose Study Notes for longer explanations and illustrated topics. Choose Flashcards when a compact prompt and answer are enough. Both systems keep their existing pack and study workflows.
